Many companies have both direct and indirect relationships from third parties, fourth parties to Nth1 parties that are important to fulfilling business functions or operations. The study reveals the difficulty companies have in mitigating, detecting and minimizing risks associated with third parties that have access to their sensitive or confidential information.
