Advisory Board

The RIM Council is governed by an Advisory Board composed of an appointed group of not more than 10 leaders from member companies.

The mission of the Board is to support the Ponemon Institute by:
  • Identifying and prioritizing key issues for RIM Council to consider during the forthcoming year, and
  • Advising the chairman on nominees to the board and provide consent on those nominated.
  • Reviewing and assessing existing projects to help ensure they are properly focused and meeting objectives
  • Identifying future challenges
In the first year of the RIM Council, a number of projects were identified based on input from RIM Council members. Working groups for each project were established with participation and leaders coming from interested RIM Council members. Each working group identified deliverables and tasks and are in various stages of completion. As challenges and issues are identified, future working groups will be created.
